Panorex
A panorex (or panoramic) x-ray can provide a lot of information for the dentist, all in one image. This image is very impressive and now with digital dentistry it does not use much radiation at all.
You will stand with your chin and teeth resting on a small ledge. The machine will rotate around your head. This will allow a complete view of the jaws, teeth, and sinuses. This commonly only needs to be taken every 4 or 5 years.
